Afro Zulu Festival is a musical event that seeks to celebrate South African music heritage, the evolution of Zulu Music and the influence that it has in South Africa’s music landscape, lifestyle, Fashion and Culture.
Zulu Inspired and influenced music is the most popular music in South Africa, it has won most awards representing South Africa in international stages and locally winning most awards in different categories on leading South African music awards.
The inaugural Afro Zulu Festival will feature some of the country’s popular, best-selling and award-winning artists in a variety of music formats and categories (Afro Pop, Afro Soul, Amapiano, Maskandi and Traditional Contemporary gospel Music).
Afro Zulu Festival will be held on heritage moth (21 September 2024) at Soweto Theatre from 2pm till 11pm, highlights of the event will include Live Performances, Lifestyle and Consumables Exhibition, Fashion, Food, Drinks, Arts and Crafts Stalls and Beer Gardens.
